FAQs

1.    If it rains the day my driveway is scheduled to be sealed; what will happen?
If we are unable to work on a specific day due to weather conditions you will receive a phone call, and we will reschedule your driveway as soon as possible.

2.    Do I need to be home while my driveway is being sealed?
You do NOT need to be home. All we ask is that the driveway is clear of cars, and other obstructions.

3.    How long before I am able to drive on my driveway after it has been sealed?
You can drive on your driveway 48 hours after completion. You can normally walk on it within six to eight hours depending on the temperature and humidity.

4.    Do you block off the freshly sealed driveway?

Yes! We use wooden stakes and caution tape to mark off the freshly sealed driveway.

5.    How do you apply the sealer?
We apply our sealer with a brush on method ensuring all the pores of your residential driveway are filling and protected.

6.    My driveway just got sealed, and I can see tire marks. Is this normal?
This tends to occur due to an excess of sand on the surface being sheared off. Your driveway doesn't fully cure for thirty days after being sealed; the tire marks will dissipate.

7.    How often should I have my driveway sealed?

For a newly paved asphalt driveway, we recommend sealing it with a brush on method for the first 2-3 years. After that, sealcoat should be applied every two years for proper upkeep of your asphalt driveway.
